Welcome to the Crow Writer!
I created this blog to have fun with fellow bloggers and writers and generally inspire everyone to be happy. However, there are some simple rules and legal disclaimers for the use of all parties of the Crow Writer. This Terms and Conditions page details them for your convenience:
Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
The conditions of this agreement may be altered or amended at any time without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, all web content of the Crow Writer, including images, blog articles, domain name, web design coding, is exclusively owned as intellectual property rights of the owner, Jonathan Edward Crow. Any content not my own is under the ownership of the credited author and referenced as such as per their request or mandated by digital intellectual property laws of United States.
I encourage you to share, print, and/or otherwise redistribute my content as much as you want for personal or educational use. Yet, you may never use my content for commercial use without properly and clearly crediting me as the original author and link viewers back to the Crow Writer.
Reproducing in any form (digital or print) any portion of the Crow Writer for commercial purposes without attribution is a violation of Digital Millennium Copyright Act as my website collectively is considered a creative work and thus automatically federally protected material. You may, however, use my content under the presumption of the “Fair Use” exception clause, such as furthering education or the public good at no personal financial gain.
If you have any questions or doubt about if it’s appropriate to share my content in a particular context, please directly email or message me for permission.
Certain parts of this website offer the opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions, information, material, and data, known as “comments”. To submit a comment you are required to input your email address as a simple way of verifying you’re a valid human user, not a spambot. Your email address is then stored in the website’s platform (WordPress) but it is not publically viewable to other users.
You’re free to express in the comments opinions by posting text, links, images, videos, and audio files with the exception of the following prohibited actions:
- Posting content that defames, bullies, defrauds or falsely impersonates any persons living or deceased.
- Posting content that is offensive and may be considered hate speech against any race, religion, nationality, gender, sex, orientation, disability status, or any other federally protected group of people.
- Posting links that are malicious and destructive in nature that may upload viruses or otherwise destroy, alter, or duplicate computer data to steal personal information.
- Posting content that is pornographic in nature.
- Posting content that promotes illegal actions, such as underage drinking or acquiring illicit drugs.
- Posting content in violation of US digital copyright and privacy laws.
- Posting content with the primary purpose of soliciting services or products of your personal or a third party business.
- Posting content that “spams” links or keyword terms with the intention of manipulating search engine indexing and driving traffic away from the Crow Writer.
Violating these terms may result in your comments being deleted, your IP address being banned from accessing the Crow Writer, and/or me pursuing legal reparation for damages.
By submitting a comment on a page or blog post, you thereby give to me royalty-free rights to reproduce any part of the user-generated content into any form without your consent. For example, I may choose to reproduce part of your comment as a testimonial ad promoting the Crow Writer and its services.
User comments do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of Crow Writer. Comments always reflect the view and opinion of the person authoring them.
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Crow Writer shall not be responsible or liable for the comments or for any loss cost, liability, damages or expenses caused and or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the comments on this website. Please be aware that you click links in the comments at your own risk. I cannot guarantee the safety or credentials of any outbound user posted links. To protect yourself, you should install a licensed antivirus software on your computer capable of detecting and blocking malicious links from opening.
To minimize potential damages, I will generally moderate blog discussions and may manually delete all comments with malicious, offensive, destructive, content that in any way violates this Terms and Conditions agreement.
You may post a hyperlink to any official organization or publication as long as the link does not (a) mislead or misrepresent the hosting site and/or (b) falsely imply official sponsorship, endorsement or approval
from the host site of your opinions and other content of your comment.
You always take full responsibility for the content you post on the Crow Writer in comments.
Reservation of Rights
I reserve the right at any time at my sole discretion remove all links and content related to comments on any portion of the Crow Writer. If you believe a part of user-generated content found in the comments or quoted on any portion of the Crow Writer is a violation of intellectual property rights, contact me immediately with evidence and I will take appropriate action.
As stated previously, I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
By continuing use and comment on the Crow Writer, you agree to be bound to and abide by all obligations set forth in this Terms and Conditions.
